Applied Study and Ensemble
(Each semester) Performance Majors are required to successfully complete applied study and a major ensemble in their area each semester in residence. Major instrumental ensembles include Marching Band, Concert Band, Wind Ensemble, and Orchestra; major choral ensembles include Concert Choir and Mixed Chorus. Jazz Ensemble or Jazz Lab Band fulfills the major ensemble requirement for students with a Jazz Studies Concentration after completion of the Junior Standing Jazz Jury.
